Introduce yourself:
Carrie: My name is Carrie Truebenbach, I’m a physical therapist at True Stride and I’ve been coming to Goodmiles since they opened.
What brought you to Goodmiles Running Company?
Carrie: I was a prior New Balance Milwaukee store customer- always received great service and was excited to keep shopping local with the added brands and run specialty with Goodmiles.
How is the store different from other retailers in your area?
Carrie: I love the specialty brand selections available for road and trail. The biggest part, however, is the awesome customer support that the staff provides. All staff I have interacted with are super knowledgeable. They remember you when you come in next time, all kinds of small stuff that not only instills trust, but lets you know you're a valued customer.
What’s one of the most memorable experiences you’ve had with Goodmiles?
Carrie: I have had the opportunity to interact with staff and customers through workshops I've delivered at the Brookfield store. These have been a fun way to connect with the Goodmiles staff and community.
Why do you love HOKA?
Carrie: I am newer to the HOKA brand, and so far I am excited about their lineup of shoes. I especially look forward to using the cushion of these shoes to help keep me out on the trails for as long as I want to be. I like the array of options available as I run on both roads and trails.
What is it important to you to give back to your community?
Carrie: I love running and I feel like it is a community builder. Getting together with others to learn more about their experiences, their questions, and simply be together with other people who are seeking to lead a healthy lifestyle through movement and running is empowering.
What is a Goodmile to you?
Carrie: A Goodmile is anytime I can get outside and spend some time on my feet moving my body- hiking, walking, and certainly running. It feels like I gain strength in my body and soul when I can move like this and take the time to provide myself with this.
